Laziness manifests itself in different ways in the MVP Kids. Annie isn't motivated to do anything. Julia is discouraged and doesn't want to try anymore with her homework. Liam wants to cut corners while working on a project with his dad. Young readers will find out how the MVP Kids overcome laziness in reading these short stories on becoming diligent.
Many authors and publishers include diversity in their books as if they're checking off a box to fulfill a requirement. Sophia Day does something extraordinary. She helps us realize that diversity in character, family composition, abilities, interests, and backgrounds is the norm not the exception.
