From the team who brought you 'The Dog's Just Been Sick in the Honda' and 'My Brother Drinks Out of the Toilet' comes a brand new collection of wicked and downright rude poetry. It is aimed at children from the age of eight.
Colin Thompson was born in London in 1942 and has worked as a printer, graphic designer, Hebridean weaver, stage manager, potter and film maker. He began writing and illustrating in 1991, moving to Australia in 1995. Since then he has had over forty books published which have won awards around the world. His earlier Lothian picture books are Gilbert, Gilbert Goes Outside, The Great Montefiasco (a CBCA Notable Book in 2005) and The Short but Incredibly Happy Life of Riley. He now lives in Bellingen, New South Wales. Peter Viska began his career as a cartoonist in 1969, when he created children's pages for magazines such as 'The Daily Mirror'. During the 1970s, Peter undertook a number of political and freelance cartoonist roles before turning to book illustration in the 1980s, when he illustrated the 'Far Out' series. In 1980 Peter established Mickey Duck Animation Co, specialising in character animation. In 1992, Peter incorporated Viskatoons to broaden and develop the television series and animation feature films operation arm of the company. He lives in Melbourne.
