Author Bio

Steve Barlow and Steve Skidmore are two of the authors of the best-selling Lost Diaries series. They met whilst teaching in Nottingham in the 1980s and have been unable to get away from each other since! When not finding Lost Diaries, Steve Skidmore still teaches and both Steves write extensively for several publishers. Between them they have written, or contributed to, well over forty books. They enjoy working with children and were writers in residence at a local school during the National Year of Reading. They also perform at many festivals during the year, working tirelessly to promote history as fun! Steve Skidmore lives in the UK and enjoys rugby and live comedy. Steve Barlow and Steve Skidmore are both teachers of English and Drama in Leicestershire. They have written numerous books for both the trade and the educational markets including Mad Myths for Puffin; Impact Play series for Heinemann and teenage fiction for Piccadilly Press and Puffin.
