Bela Barbosa has been an early childhood educator for 9 years. She has taught mindfulness in her classroom and has worked with local social workers in social skills groups for children with special needs. Bela recently earned both her yoga teacher and wellness champion certifications. She is currently the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) consultant at a 12-classroom preschool for ages 2-5, bringing her expertise to all children and staff. Bela lives in Northern New Jersey. This is her first book. Edel Rodriguez is a Cuban American artist who has exhibited internationally with shows across North America and Europe. Inspired by personal history, religious rituals, politics, memory, and nostalgia, his bold, figurative works are an examination of identity, cultural displacement, and mortality. His work speaks truth to power in the American tradition of the First Amendment and freedom of the press. Throughout his career, Edel has created artwork for numerous clients, including mega brands like Nike, MTV, and Pepsi, and various publications such as The New York Times, TIME Magazine, and The New Yorker.
