Tessa Strickland co-founded Barefoot Books with Nancy Traversy in the early 1990s, and has gone on to create many highly acclaimed children's books, including the numerous books she has written as Stella Blackstone.

Author Bio

Award-winning author Tessa Strickland has written many of Barefoots best-selling titles. David Dean is a full-time illustrator who fulfills his mission of travelling the world from the comfort of his studio. Known for his exotic and colourful artwork, David paints in a room surrounded by books about different cultures.
