Arnold doesnt want to go to school... not without his pet whale! Luckily, his neigbour, Dora, is full of good ideas. Soon the whale is joining in with the choir, football and even helping them count in maths. The children have so much fun with Arnolds whale that they miss the bell for afternoon lessons. Mrs Oates makes them stay inside, but Arnolds whale has a solution for that too!
Billy lives in a countryside village in Essex with her husband and two growing children. The family have a motley crew of ponies and dogs and Billy is never happier than when she is knee deep in muck. In fact, she claims this is where she comes up with her stories! Author of: Not Without my Whale and How Do You Do, Mr Gnu Villie Karabatzia was born in Athens, studied illustration at Ornerakis School of Applied Art and work as an illustrator since 2008. She loves creating playful characters, interesting compositions and giving emphasis on color. Her style is fresh, whimsical, cute and funny. Her ideas comes not only from every creative thought her mentor cat confides to her, but also her personal experiences, memories, dreams and wishes.
