Emma Otheguywrites childrens books about Latine identity and Latin American history and literature. She is the author ofMarts Song for Freedom,The Unicorn Rescue Society: The Madre de Aguas of Cuba,Silver Meadows Summer, A Sled for Gabo, andSecrets of the Silver Lion. She holds a Ph.D. in History from New York University and lives in Queens, NY. Andrs Landazbalis an illustrator and art director based in Colombia. His work has appeared in film, television, and print. Andrs' love for drawing and painting was instilled at a young age by reading classic illustrated children's books.
