"The Homework Giant" is a children's book written in English for those learning to read. It is a fun story story that explores the mutual benefit of 'doing homework'. The benefit of forming an early bond with the someone or people who are supremely special; even the forming of superheroes in the eyes of the young. Enjoy!
"We found the characters fascinating and the story quite funny, especially where the 'M' was falling of the mountain. It made us laugh and we loved it. A lovely story to be read at bedtime.
Professor Emritus Edward Baugh and Mrs. Sheila Baugh.
Elsie McIntosh (nee Menzies), born in Jamaica in 1941 and grew up in St. Catherine in the cool hills of Tavern Hill, Guys Hill. She attended Mount Nebo Primary School and helped in the family owned grocery shop daily. This foundation set her life in motion which resulted in her starting a successful business in 1974 with her husband Earle McIntosh (deceased). Many days were spent with her grandchildren sharing their homework time with them and the great pleasure in watching their minds blossom at the her desk while at work, at home or while away visiting her son. So, it is with great pleasure to share this experience with everyone (smile) who reads this book.
