A wipe-clean book with colourful activities to help children learn about sentence types, nouns, verbs, adjectives and tenses. Part of the Usborne Key Skills series, supporting the English lessons children do at school. The wipe-clean pages provide endless practice, and answers and notes for grown-ups are included at the back of the book.
Jessica Greenwell grew up in Wolverhampton then studied English at Leeds University. She joined Usborne in 2008 and has since written lots of wipe-clean, sticker, colouring and noisy books. She lives in Oxfordshire with her husband and two young sons, and when she's not playing pirates or dinosaurs, she's writing books about them instead. Marta Cabrol was born near Barcelona in 1976. She was very lucky to have a mother who worked in the library where she spent many hours reading lots of books. This was an important influence on her because it helped create a special sensibility to the world of images. Now for her own illustrations, she combines the children's world of imagination, storytelling, and reading, which have always been an important part of her life.
