Born in Warwickshire, he graduated with a BA in English literature and English Language from De Montfort university. During his studies, he learned about literature, styles of languages, Linguistic relativism, and psycholinguistics, which is the study of effects of languages on the brain. Thanks to his learnings, John successfully uses words that captivate and resonate with children and that will be sure to make them retain information. His stories are entertaining, memorable, and extremely fun to read. Before starting her career at BookLife in 2018, Amy Li graduated from De Montfort University with a first class BA(Hons) in Graphic Design and Illustration. Having a life-long passion for childrens literature, she is currently studying for a Masters degree in Childrens Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. Amy currently resides in Norfolk with her partner and cat, and enjoys drawing, reading, and all things Harry Potter.
