Born in Quebec, Canade, Emilie Dufresnes academic achievements explain the knowledge and creativity that can be found in her books. At the young age, she received the award of Norfolk County Scholar, recognising her top grades in school. At the University of Kent, Emilie obtained a First-Class Honours degree in English and American Literature and was awarded a Masters in The Contemporary with Distinction. She has published over 60 books with BookLife Publishing, ranging from science to geography, art and sports, and even animal as superheroes! Children enjoy Emilies books engaging way she writes, which always makes children want to learn more. Before starting her career at BookLife in 2018, Amy Li graduated from De Montfort University with a first class BA(Hons) in Graphic Design and Illustration. Having a life-long passion for childrens literature, she is currently studying for a Masters degree in Childrens Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art. Amy currently resides in Norfolk with her partner and cat, and enjoys drawing, reading, and all things Harry Potter.
