RALPH L. KLIEM is Principal, Practical Creative Solutions, a consulting firm in Redmond, Washington. He has experience as a corporate EDP auditor, EDP trainer, computing methods analyst, program planner, technical writer, and college instructor. He is the author or coauthor of seven other books. IRWIN S. LUDIN, also a Principal of Practical Creative Solutions, has experience in information systems as a business manager, engineer, production shop analyst, project manager, and a college instructor. He is author or coauthor of three previous books and numerous articles on managerial, computing, and technical communications topics.
