Robin M. Mayer has experienced the joys and heartaches of two careers. During her media career she performed as the VJ Rockin Robin, mixed National Public Radio s All Things Considered, stayed up all night as a killer bee writer/producer/editor for CBS News, and won four regional Emmys. Robin successfully changed careers when she graduated from UC Hastings College of the Law, passed the California bar on the first try, and after a challenging job search during the Great Recession, won an attorney position with the State of California. She consults job applicants via her website, RealWorldResume.com. Robin lives in Northern California with her husband Alan Mayer, a musician, songwriter, and recording engineer."
