Leadership isn't what you do-it's who you become.
What separates extraordinary leaders from the rest In this powerful leadership parable, a talented but misguided executive named Bruce Engerston goes on a supernatural journey similar to A Christmas Carol. Instead of visiting ghosts of the past, Bruce is presented with footage of Lincoln, Grant, and Tubman where he discovers the three timeless principles for leaders of all levels-principles you can implement immediately to revolutionize your leadership approach.
Unlike theoretical leadership books that leave you wondering how to apply their concepts, The Three Daily Disciplines delivers practical wisdom through an engaging story that will resonate with leaders at any level. As Bruce encounters the examples of history's best leaders, you'll discover:
How embracing curiosity can unlock innovation and growth
Why humility in leadership allows teams to reach their highest potential
How empathy builds genuine connections that inspire loyalty and exceptional performance
Whether you lead a small team or an entire organization, these three disciplines-practiced daily-will equip you to navigate today's complex business challenges while developing meaningful relationships that extend beyond the workplace.
Start reading today to begin your own leadership journey!
Bruce, our protagonist in A Leadership Carol, closely mirrors Scrooge's path to redemption, but through a journey faced with modern leadership challenges. Through this story we grasp the message that true leadership influence happens by being genuinely curious about others, having humble self-reflection, and demonstrating empathetic connection with those we lead. I've been inspired to examine my own leadership approach and to practice these three essential daily disciplines. Drew's concise book can be placed on your bookshelf right next to A Christmas Carol, with both books inspiring us to personal transformation.

With each phase of Bruce's journey, practical and meaningful steps emerge that any leader can implement right away. Whether you're an experienced leader, just beginning your leadership journey, or someone seeking personal growth, this book will equip you to develop the self-awareness needed to lead in a way that inspires trust and influence.
