She has been recognised as one of the UKs Top 100 Inspirational Business Women by Small Business Britain, shortlisted as Digital Woman of the Year, nominated for Businesswoman of the Year for the Womens Business Awards 2021, and was cited as one of Business Insider's Top 10 UK Social Media Experts. Gemma Butler is Chief Community Officer at WeAre8. Previously, she was the Marketing Director for the Chartered Institute of Marketing, where she led the development of the first regulated qualification in Sustainable Marketing. Gemma is a regular speaker and participant at sustainability events and conferences. She also cohosts the Can Marketing Save the Planet podcast with Michelle Carvill.
