AUSTIN MURPHY is Professor of Finance, Department of Accounting and Finance, Oakland University, Michigan./e Among his earlier assignments were a stint as a Visiting Professor at the Federal Home Loan Bank Board, and as a Fulbright Professor at the Free University of Berlin.
