Author Bio

Michael Hamilton lives by the beach, enjoys surfing and loves to travel and learn. After participating in dozens of real estate investment deals from mobile home investments, single-family rentals, rehab flips, underwriting short-term private mortgage loans and living in some of the most beautiful vacation destinations, he decided to get into the vacation rental business. Through live seminars and trainings, he has spoken in front of and taught real estate investing and entrepreneurship principles to thousands of investors over the U.S. and Canada. Over his investing career, he has evolved into an ambassador of financial literacy and real-life business education.

In a short time, he and his team built Live Swell Beach Bungalows--a boutique brand of vacation rentals whose mission is to open the doors to the laid-back surf lifestyle. From the beginning, Live Swell approached the short-term rental business differently from most owners. They committed to building a systems dependent business, which is scalable and operates whether or not any one individual is physically present.

He has an undergraduate degree from Cornell University and a graduate degree in International Business from the University of California, San Diego.
