When Appaloosa s sheriff and deputies suddenly vanish without a trace, territorial Marshals Virgil Cole and Everett Hitch saddle up to sort things out. But Cole and Hitch have no idea of the dangers they re about to face, or how far-reaching the destruction will be as the clouds over Appaloosa grow even darker."
