Description

This book's main character is Mick Anderson. After a young girl is kidnapped from a nearby mall, Mick tries to help the police find her. A series of strange events leads Mick to believe he has found the missing girl. Police and detectives don't appreciate his involvement. Instead, they now feel Mick has become the main suspect. To prove his innocence, Mick is forced to confront his past and help find her before she is murdered.

His quest leads him to understand what has haunted him for decades. Each step closer to finding this kidnapped girl reveals one more secret, and one more clue to his past. The secret Mick has tried to repress his entire life continues to mutate and worsen until it can't be ignored. Mick's life changes dramatically as he attempts to put the pieces of his life's mixed up puzzle back together. Eventually, Mick realizes that what he'd always thought was a medical defect in his body, might not be what it seems. Each clue and adventure gets Mick one more answer to why his life turned out the way it had. Each answer comes with another set of problems and Mick is forced to find a way forward. It is non-stop action thriller, with one amazing discovery after another.

Mick's life changes from mundane to one amazing adventure after another. It's an exciting and dangerous time for Mick, as he comes to terms with his new purpose.

Author Bio

The author is a business owner who designs complex software used in the motorsports field. For 40 years he has written novels as a distraction. Software developers and writers get writer's block, it is a part of what we do. I would jump from writing a software program with over a million lines of code, to writing novels. This process seemed to help my mind reenergize to break out of the writer's block. I was able to hone my skills and be more proficient. I never intended to let other people read my novels until this book was written. I stopped calling my writing a distraction, and started to embrace the process. I believe this book is an excellent read, with memories of my own life. It is fiction, but has more real world personal experiences included. I had fun writing this book. I hope you like it as well.
