Mankind has suffered a self-inflicted extinction level event. Adam hasn't seen another living human since his wife and daughter disappeared. Losing himself to loneliness and despair, the only semblance of reality is his trusty journal and fading memories memories of a sentient Artificial Intelligence, and an old friend. With his loneliness closing in on him, and dampening his desire for life, Adam's curiosity for answers is the only thing driving him forward.

Extant is a gripping sequel to Project Evelyn, and explores man's uncontrollable urge for self-preservation, if only through a search for hope. Adam was created to help guide the reader on a journey with the aim of providing reflections on the reader's perception of their own reality.

Author Bio

James Lahoe resides in Northern Phoenix, AZ with his wife and daughter. Growing up poor in a single-parent family, small town living helped to develop a healthy imagination early on. Such is life, learning to navigate through adulthood, and working through challenges, proved to consume much of his time. With the support of his family, he is once again able to tap into his mind's eye, and explore a creative story telling gift.
