Travelling to Hong Kong with the bike, James continued to learn more about its quirks, gaining first-hand experience of diagnosing, repairing and re-assembling a failing electrical system. He has now combined his experience with his engineering background to write this book. Dr James Smith is an automotive engineer. He holds a Master's degree in Automotive Engineering and a PhD in Thermo-fluids from the University of Bath.
