Newly divorced and living in a winter rental, Natalie Renfro discovers being a stay-at-home mom has left her with few options for a job. When she's offered a project by an old attorney friend of her brother-in-law, she jumps at the chance to prove herself. She soon learns that the job is to move his client, Vivian, a hoarder, out of her childhood home and into another. She enlists the help of an inexperienced realtor, Russell, who has issues and secrets of his own. Together they uncover more than either of them ever bargained for.
During her careers in both pharmacy and the legal field, Lori found herself fascinated by the stories behind the people. After going on a mid-life journey of her own in a winter rental, she decided to use her time in quarantine to engage with some of the characters living in her head. Lori braves the cold winters of Gloucester, MA writing alongside her partner and their two black cats.
