1222 metres above sea level, train 601 from Oslo to Bergen careens off iced rails as the worst snowstorm in Norwegian history gathers force around it. Author Bio

Anne Holt is one of Scandinavia's most successful crime writers. Her two crime series - featuring Johanne Vik and Hanne Wilhelmsen - have sold more than 5 million copies and are translated into twenty-five languages. She is the recipient of several awards, including the Riverton Prize (Rivertonprisen) and the Booksellers' Prize (Bokhandlerprisen).
