Author Bio

Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was born in 1859 and died in 1930. He is best known for creating the fictional detective, Sherlock Holmes, and his sidekick, Watson. Sherlock Holmes appears in 56 short stories and 4 novels and has become a treasured cultural icon.
