When detective Bridget Love, of the homicide division shows up to investigate, everyone from the pulpit to the parking lot is suspect. The FBI gets involved when they discover that there are major cargo thieves attending Nashvilles largest mega church.

T.J. Miller, also known as T. Jerome Miller, is a storyteller, voice actor, and entertainment executive. T.J. has spent 20 plus years in upper management for major record labels such as PolyGram, Motown, Capitol, and Warner Music Group. For film and TV, he has served as music supervisor and has placed music in popular TV shows and commercials and produced independent movies. Prior to that T.J. performed with jazz, classical and theater groups traveling all over the country. T.J. studied formal music and theater at both Grambling State University and Tennessee State University in Nashville. Murder By The Collar is the first in a series of murder mysteries featuring Detective-Lieutenant, Bridget Love of the Nashville Police Department. The next story in the series is Sinners and Vigilantes; the next Love story. Nashville has a serial killer who never touches his victims. They call him the Counselor, and he's nasty, arrogant and angry. After Bridget finds out that The Bishop and her father The Chief of Police are on his list to die next, she knows it's a chess match to catch him before his next murder. To make a bad situation worse, an old enemy who she's never met is back and wants her dead.
