In 1885 Abigail Wilson joined an archaeological dig at the Colosseum in Rome. Now, 15 years later, she is famed as a renowned 'digger' and one half of the Museum Detectives alongside her husband Daniel. Abigail has been invited to be a speaker at a Conference on Ancient Roman Civilization, held in Rome. Daniel and Abigail decide to use this conference to extend it to a holiday in the Eternal City, but when a fellow archaeologist and his wife are found shot dead in the Colosseum, the Wilsons find themselves at the heart of the murder investigation.
Jim Eldridge was born in central London towards the end of World War II, and survived attacks by V2 rockets on the King's Cross area where he lived. In 1971 he sold his first sitcom to the BBC and had his first book commissioned. Since then he has had more than one hundred books published, with sales of over three million copies. He lives in Kent with his wife.
