Description

It was the worst day of Laura's life: the day her five-year-old brother drowned. They went to the beach on Cape Cod during spring break and found an abandoned rowboat. One day, she approached her mom about moving back into their cottage on Cape Cod, now a rental property. Laura was an artist, and the Cape was the perfect place to find inspiration. Her move leads her to shocking discoveries that plunge her into a labyrinth of darkness, leading her to assume the role of detective as she unravels a series of unfathomable events.

Author Bio

Lee Blonder is a retired anthropology professor living in the Bluegrass region of Kentucky with her husband and two dogs. She loves reading mysteries and thrillers and, after years as a reader, she took the plunge to write her first crime fiction novel "The Beach Was Beautiful." Previously, she authored the nonfiction book "Transformative Health Strategies: Integrative Medicine and the COVID-19 Pandemic" and now devotes herself to writing as an independent author.
