Description

Four people from different walks of life find each other in the same elevator bank on September 11th. Three step into the elevator, while one has the doors close in his face. The last thing Jim Winters sees before the doors close is the face of a young woman, who failed in her attempt to keep them open.

Jim is angry and feels guilty about surviving. He knows he should have been on that elevatgor and understands that he cheated death.

Jum learns to live with his anger and adjust to the post 9/11 world. Five years later his return to normalcy is shattered while browsing in a local bookstore, when he discovers a book stating the official story of 9/11 is a lie. When he turns the first page, he enters into a new world of conspiracy theories. With his anger resurrected, he begins his research. He questions the 911 Commission report and the reasons the towers fell. He realizes the only way to answer the doubts and questions raised is a new independent investigation. His quest leads him to a congressman's office, a local cable television show and finally to Washington DC, where he is scheduled to present his findings.

One Way Elevator is one man's search for the truth. He knows that if 9/11 were an inside job, the people behind it are still out there and it could happen again.
