Description

She thought she could trust him. She was wrong...

When Zoe meets Dan she can't believe her luck. He's everything she is looking for in a man - intelligent, charming, stable, supportive.
Until they're married.
Then Zoe realises that Dan is controlling, aggressive, paranoid.
And there's no way out.

Or is there

When Zoe discovers that she's pregnant, she realises that the only way she can keep her baby is to leave Dan.
But that's harder than you think.
He found her once before, and she knows he can find her again.
But Dan has plans of his own - plans that don't necessarily include Zoe.

But then, even the best laid plans often go awry, and you really need to be careful about who you trust...

Reviews

Truly sinister domestic noir - chilling, scary, and magnificent * Lee Child *
Kiss Me Kill Me will hook you from the very first page. It's a dark, twisty tale that will keep you guessing. You will think you know where it's going - but you'll be wrong * Rachel Abbott *
This was dark, uncomfortable, head-spinny and I loved it. Big high-fives to J S Carol for the unique Kiss Me Kill Me. This one's going to spin heads aplenty. And now I need to lie down * Caz Frear *
A cracking psychological thriller with great characterisation and switchback twists and turns * Martyn Waites *
A twisty, compulsive slice of domestic noir. ***** * C J Carver *
James Carol had already made something of a mark for his Jackson Winter series, the first of which was Broken Dolls. But writing in a new style for a new publisher, the author proves with Kiss Me Kill Me that there is more than one string to his bow. And, what's more, that the encomium by Lee Child on the jacket is more than justified . . . this is psychological crime writing of real authority * Barry Forshaw *
A right proper page turner . . . the characters are truly compelling and you do have a few of those "AARGH now what" moments that just keep you turning the pages faster. Starting off as a psychological thriller and then finishing off with some real edge of the seat type stuff, Kiss Me Kill Me is genuinely engaging, extremely well written and pretty much does exactly what it says on the tin . . . you'll have had a banging good read and have met some darkly delicious characters * Liz Loves Books *
Wow! Just wow! I loved everything about this book. Kiss Me Kill Me is a dark psychological read that completely unnerved me from the very beginning, that undercurrent of foreboding, that something bad was going to happen. This is suspense writing at its very best. This book takes what you think you know, what you understand, and then completely turns it on its head * Brew and Books *
A fast paced psychological thriller with a superbly dark ending * The Bookseller *
Kiss Me, Kill Me is yet another thrilling and gripping read by the author. I literally could not turn those pages fast enough as I had absolutely no clue where the author was taking me and I didn't really care, all I knew was that there was no way I was missing out on the roller coaster of a journey he was taking me on. An exhilarating and highly entertaining read! * By The Letter book reviews *
Not only is this a gripping read, it is also a very emotional one! J. S. Carol's characterisation is fantastic, his writing wonderful. I really, really enjoyed Kiss Me, Kill Me. As soon as I read the first sentence, I was hooked. This is a fantastic new addition to the genre, a slice of perfection that will have psychological thriller fans in it grips for hours! * Ronnie Turner Ad Astra *
Sinister, suspenseful and really rather brilliant * Sunday Mirror *
wonderfully dark and unrelenting... blooming brilliant * Heat *
heart-stopping and thrilling * My Weekly *
Oh my goodness! Can anyone trust anyone in this masterful twisty tale All I know is that I couldn't stop reading it. Kiss Me Kill Me is fast paced, very well-plotted and utterly unpredictable. A suspenseful thriller that leaves you gasping at the skill and cunning of the heroine, the villain, but most of all the writer who delivers a bold, audacious plot for his reader's delight * My Weekly *
