Martine Kropkowski is a writer and researcher who lives and works in Brisbane/Meanjin. Her research centres on the way that fiction gives voice to women and contemporary social issues through its narrativising of crime. When shes not writing, Martine can be found reading, walking her lovable but tyrannous dachshund, or racing her immediate family in extremely serious rounds of Mario Kart.
