GAIL SIMONE is the most influential woman in the comic book industry. Red Sonja: Consumed is her debut novel.

Gail's advocacy for greater representation in comics has been instrumental in changing the landscape for creators and bringing about huge success for female and LGBTQ+ characters. She has led the writing on epic series like Wonder Woman , Superman, Tomb Raider and Batgirl. She is known for taking on series and revamping the characters with her wit, unique style and her eye for an action scene - revitalising sales of Deadpool and Birds of Prey issues when she joined the creative team. As well as comic books, she has also written for film, TV and video games.
