Description

Calladia Cunnington knows she's rough around the edges, despite being the

heir to one of small-town Glimmer Falls' founding witch families. While her gym

obsession is a great outlet for her anxieties and anger, her hot temper still gets

the best of her and manifests in bar brawls. When Calladia saves someone from

a demon attack one night, though, she's happy to put her magic and rage to

good use...until she realizes the man she saved is none other than Astaroth,

the ruthless demon who orchestrated a soul bargain on her best friend.

Astaroth is a legendary soul bargainer and one of the nine members of the

demon high council-except he can't remember any of this. Suffering from

amnesia after being stripped of his immortality and banished to the mortal

plane, Astaroth doesn't know why a demon named Moloch is after him, nor why

the muscular, angry, hot-in-a-terrifying-way witch who saved him hates him so

much.

Unable to leave anyone in such a vulnerable state-even the most despicable

demon - Calladia grudgingly decides to help him. The two set out on an uneasy road trip to find

the witch who might be able to restore Astaroth's memory so they can learn

how to defeat Moloch. Calladia vows that once Astaroth is cured, she'll kick his

ass, but the more time she spends with the snarky yet utterly charming demon,

the more she realizes she likes this new, improved Astaroth... and maybe she doesn't want him to recover his memories, after all.

Reviews

Sarah Hawley makes an outstanding debut with A WITCH'S GUIDE TO FAKE DATING A DEMON. Reading this book is like standing in the bright heart of magic. I laughed, I swooned, I sighed dreamily, often on the same page. It truly was a sparkling delight, and I can't wait to see what spell Hawley weaves for us next! * India Holton, bestselling author of THE LEAGUE OF GENTLEWOMEN WITCHES *
Hawley ably navigates life and love among toxic family members, fantastical chaos, and small-town politics-with some steamy scenes and plenty of dad jokes along the way. This is a treat * Publishers Weekly *
Whimsically sexy, charmingly romantic, and magically hilarious. This book put a spell on me and bewitched me, body and soul! * Ali Hazlewood *
If GOOD OMENS were a small-town, enemies-to-lovers romcom. It's bright, bubbly, sexy, funny, and glorious * Vivien Jackson *
I loved A Witch's Guide to Fake Dating a Demon! It's the most utterly witchy sort of meet-cute, and I loved their banter. I loved the awkwardness of the relationship - what exactly does a witch do with a sexy demon that she's summoned Romance readers know this answer. It was quirky, witty, and sexy all at once, and Oz is a delicious swoon-worthy hero. The small-town-with-magic setting is just as charming as the characters and made me want to visit Glimmer Falls. Highly, highly recommended for Nalini Singh fans who like a side of Charmed to their romance * New York Times Bestselling Author Jessica Clare *

You're all in for a treat because this book is SO MUCH FUN! Sarah Hawley's effervescent prose leaps off the page right from the hilarious opening scene, and I did not stop smiling until hours after I'd reached the end. Hawley's Mariel and Oz are both such delightful and charming characters, both separately and together, and her writing is infused with such effortless humor.
TL;DR: Drop everything and read this

* Jenna Levine *
I was lucky enough to snag an ARC from Berkley, and I have to pity everyone else who has to wait until March to read this. The experience of reading this book is like being invited on a picnic lunch to the English countryside in summer by the funniest person you know. Sarah has packed all your favorite snacks, found a great spot next to some wildflowers, and will make you snort-laugh sparkling lemonade through your nose when she drops in a knotting joke * Katie Shepard *
