Description

Navigating middle school for Samuel is already hard, but now he must also understand why he is seeing animals that aren't there. Along the way, he meets Jumbo, a pig that no one seems to trust. Samuel has to make his own choices about Jumbo, even if his grandpa doesn't like it. He also makes friends with Kellie, who is a grade above him. He has to make a choice about telling her the truth or if he should keep it to himself. Samuel helps give his friends peace, even if it means they have to stay on Sanctuary Pasture.

When not writing, Dana enjoys traveling, conventions, and even staying home with the comfort of her cat, Cosmo. She is a newish author, hoping to one day make a full-time career out of writing. In the meantime, she works a 9-5 in the outskirts of Philadelphia, PA.
