Vernica Garca was born and raised in Valladolid, Spain. In the late 1990s, she came to the US to pursue a career in software engineering in the biotechnology industry. Her desire to bring entertainment and joy to others compelled her to write fantasy stories and she switched careers after her mother passed away. She's passionate about the environment and loves vacationing in sunny, warm destinations. She resides in California with her husband, two kids, and one dog.
