Description

In the very near future, the United States' energy needs are supplied by enormous solar farms the size of a small state. The panels generate an energy field that prevents ordinary machinery and electronics from functioning. The fields have to be guardedand tended by men on horseback: the Outriders.

Steven John is a writer living with his wife and young son in Glendale, California. Stevens first book, Three A.M., was published by Tor in 2012; Outrider is his second novel. When not writing or spending time with his family, he climbs the occasional mountain.
