Blade. Butcher. Thief. Worldbreaker. Emiko Soong has been called many things. But Worldbreaker is the worst. She unmasked the General and returned to San Francisco where her power is greatest. But the city, once her sanctuary from Jiaren intrigues, turns into her living nightmare. Clan wars erupt and Emiko's life becomes a treacherous quicksand of friend and foe. Unsure of who to trust, Emiko finds herself more alone than ever. When an ancient power rips through the Realm to land in her city, the General will stop at nothing to take it for his own. Reviews

Praise for Pearl City

"Vee and Bebelle are experts at high-octane action. Wonderfully thoughtful worldbuilding sets this series apart, and Emiko is a kick-ass heroine I desperately needed to read in a story that artfully examines the careful balance between caring for ourselves and what we owe others." - J.R. Dawson, award-winning author of The First Bright Thing

Praise for Blood Jade

"Readers of stories that mix speculative fiction and mystery will enjoy this series and call out for more. Fans of works like Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse books or the early part of Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake adventures will enjoy the Phoenix Hoard series."--Booklist, starred review

"The follow-up to Ebony Gate continues to build a delightful world of family magic, Japanese culture and diaspora, and strong ties of loyalty and friendship."--Library Journal

Praise for Ebony Gate

"Ebony Gate is a snarky Harry Dresden meets Shang-Chi, with a dash of Monster Hunter International." -- Kevin J. Anderson, New York Times bestselling co-author of Dune: House Atreides

"A wild, exhilarating ride through a living San Francisco populated with ghosts, magical beasts, and one tough-as-nails heroine. Adventurous and filled with heart, exploring the struggles of a bloody past and familial duty, Ebony Gate is a spectacular start to what promises to be an engrossing series." -- Andrea Stewart, author of The Bone Shard Daughter

"Ebony Gate is a bizarre and exciting thrill ride! It's Doctor Strange meets Shang-Chi with a big dose of original characters, modern fantasy, and dynamic action. Highly recommended!" -- Jonathan Maberry, New York Times bestselling author of the Joe Ledger Thrillers and Kagen the Damned

"It's like reading my favorite martial arts movies, with magic that will blow your mind." -- Brian D. Anderson, bestselling author of The Godling Chronicles

"Put this book in the hands of fans of Fonda Lee's 'Green Bone Saga.'" -- Library Journal
