Amaliyah Jordan, a middle aged woman, relocates to Albuquerque at the behest of her brother and his wife, after her mother dies. She rents a fixer upper on a dead end street, and immediately begins to feel an unwanted presence. Terrorized by this force, she embarks on a journey that leads her to worlds unbeknownst to her. Mali is a loner, with no knowledge of her family beyond her parents. She wants to leave her house, but can't seem to run from what stalks her. With the help of Shema, an elderly Navajo woman, Mali must face her demons and discover her true nature.
Shariyah Levvi was born and raised on the Westside of Chicago, Illinois. She attended Columbia College for the arts where she studied music, dance, theater, and creative writing. After traveling and performing for numerous years, she returned to Columbia and earned her Bachelors degree in Arts and Entertainment Management. This is her first novel.
