Author Bio

It started many years ago when I was a pigged tail little girl running thru the woods , no care in the world but to jump on a horse with my sister when we were little . Our parents took us to which at that time looked like huge ranch with thousands of horses, which actually was maybe 5 acres with maybe 5 horses. Funny what our concept is as a kid when compared to an adult.
We rode carelessly thru the pastures with the wind in our hair and the strength of these majestic animals. There was nothing like it. My kindness for horses and all living creatures grew and as it did, I would pickup every stray dog and cat I would find and bring home. My parents always kept them. Never once did they say no you can't have or try to take to a shelter . Horses are such large animals and can often be feared in the wrong hands . I started rescuing horses years ago. The neglected, abused and unwanted . They are so large it's not as easy to put them in a home . A lot goes into consideration including land, funds, time spent and the overall care of the equine.
That's why I started Heaven on Earth-OTTBs rehab and rescue. I started it shortly after my mom died unexpectedly and I had spoke about so many many times with her .
A month after her passing I created my 501c3 charity.
I hope this story goes deep into your heart and you smile while reading it
