Novak, born in Maryland, spent her childhood years in Santiago, Chile and Washington, D.C. suburbs; she graduated from the University of Maryland with a Degree in Journalism and began her career as a Newspaper Reporter. After moving to California, she worked as a TV News (teleprompter) writer and also as a ghost writer for well-known personalities. Now residing in Southern California with her family, she divides her time between California and Italy, writing historical fiction and Christmas genre screenplays and books.
