"The Badlands Series" is the spellbinding account of the trials and tribulations of a larger-than-life underground criminal organization extending to New York, Philadelphia, and D.C, over the last two decades. Their combined power extends from the wildest neighborhood blocks to the most conservative corridors of local government. Like a living urban legend, these tales of ruthless superiority captured the minds and hearts of even their sworn enemies. In "A Love To Die For," Victor, a reformed gangster, is released from prison with revenge on his mind and news that his cousin has been murdered. He vows to avenge his murder and to take care of his niece, Isabella. Angelica, his one true love, wants nothing to do with him. Eventually, Victor finds himself caught in a dangerous wild goose chase that ensues between a union boss, Sean Flannery's Irish crew of gangsters, and Jorge "Fieta" Santiago's Crown organization and soon learns that everything has a price and must be forced to make a choice when this explosive situation puts Angelica's life at risk. To save his one true love, Victor must make the right moves to stay in the game - this is chess not checkers.
