The author, Rachel Yang, is a ten-year-old girl who articulates her own life experiences by giving voice to the fictionalized Diana- a curious and confident kid who shares the ups and downs of her life as a pre-teen as well as the lessons she learns along the way.

Author Bio

Rachel Yang is ten years old and is an only child. She is very lonely because her parents are busy and have almost no time for her. She promised her mom to have eight children when she grows up so they won't be lonely. In her spare time, Rachel began to write, and that's how this book series started.
