August 1997. As the century grinds to a close, Diana Spencer and her Egyptian lover are visiting Paris. An international fixer puts a team in place to watch the princess. Eoin McNamee was born in Kilkeel, County Down, in 1961. He was educated in various schools in the North of Ireland and at Trinity College, Dublin. He has lived in Dublin, London and New York. His first book, the novella The Last of Deeds, was shortlisted for the Irish Times Literature Prize. His next book, Resurrection Man, was published in 1996 to great critical acclaim and is reissued in 2004. His novel, The Blue Tango, was his first book for Faber, and his second novel, The Ultras, was published in 2004 and a children's book, The Navigator, in 1995. He lives in Sligo on the west coast of Ireland.
