Deck the halls with smiles and laughter, fa la la la la, la la la la! Since their inception, Archie and his friends have delighted readers with scores of Yuletide tales. These stories proved so popular that in 1954 an entire series devoted to stories of Holiday Cheer and Good Will to all premiered: ARCHIE'S CHRISTMAS STOCKING! Now you can relive the magic, warmth and hilarity as Archie and his friends show their holiday spirit in this special collection of classic tales from the first decade of Santa Claus himself! This high quality book features painstaking restorations of original stories and a cover art by Archie fan favorite, Rex Lindsey, with a special Foreword by Kris Kringle himself!
Frank Doyle was the head writer for Archie Comics for over thirty years. He wrote over 10,000 stories featuring the Archie character for such important Archie titles as ARCHIE and BETTY AND VERONICA and also many of the stories for Archie's adventure-themed titles, as well as the debut stories for several Archie supporting characters, including the first appearance of Cheryl Blossom. Comics writer Kurt Busiek has referred to Doyle as "one of the best writers comics ever had."
