Rick Murdock lives in the East Millcreek area of the Salt Lake Valley with his wife, Liz, their five children, a dog, and the ghosts of a fish and two guinea pigs. Raised in Delta, Utah, he was brought up in the midst of loving and hilarious people, who supported and encouraged his budding creativity and sense of humor. He studied at Brigham Young University where he earned degrees in music, history, and public administration. Later, he completed a second master's degree in instructional technology from Utah State. He spends his days creating and presenting training courses. He spends his nights sleeping. He spends some late afternoons and evenings teaching business writing at BYU. With the rest of his time, he contemplates DIY projects, sings with the six-man a cappella group Voice Male, and tries to convince his very busy wife and children to hang out with him to varying degrees of success. Convergence is his debut novel.
