Description

Author Bio

Anna Katharine Green (1846 - 1935) was one of the first women in America to pioneer modern crime fiction. Her debut, The Leavenworth Case, won praise from Wilkie Collins and sold over a million copies. She went on to write more than thirty more crime novels over the course of her career. She died in New York at the age of 88.
