Author Bio

Lale Gul was born in Amsterdam in 1997. She studies Dutch language and Culture at the Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam. Until the age of seventeen, she attended a Koranic school of the Milli Gorus foundation at the weekends. In her autobiographical debut novel I Will Live, she disputes everything she was taught there and more.
