Ty Cross was born in Washington D.C. She was raised in P.G county Maryland. Ty's love for reading novels goes back as far as elementary. Sometime during high school she read a Terry McMillan novel and from that point on she vowed that when she wrote her first novel, it would bring the same intensity as a McMillan book.
