The Girl on the Moon is a relatable book. It's an easy read and a go-to book when you find your mind drifting to another planet. The book contains a message from Little Dee Dee and questions regarding the content in the book.
This is Denean's first children's book. Born and raised in the city of brotherly love, Denean's love for writing began as a child. Writing for Denean was therapeutic and a way for the once shy little girl to express herself. Denean spent her childhood years writing songs, plays, and poems but drifted away from her first love when she was a young adult. Denean resumed her love for writing once she entered the Behavioral Health Field. Denean's writing is influenced by the children she encounters. Denean works in the behavior health field, working with children with Autism, Selective Mutism, ADHD, non-verbal/verbal, and emotional disorder. While providing a service to the children, the children also provide Denean with inspiration. When Denean is not writing, she enjoys spending time with her daughters, playing cards and board games. Denean also enjoys cooking new recipes, baking her favorite sweets, eating spicy foods, traveling, dancing, and listening to music.Justin Green, Illustrator of over 5 published children's books was born in Philadelphia and raised in New Jersey.
