A most unconventional of murder mysteries, turning the genre completely on its head, skewering cliche and staid sensibilities.
Summer is a perfect time to seek out ... a Mojito, a lawn chair and Thought You Were Dead.--Sarah Jarvis, Brescia Broadcast "The narrative and dialogue are clever and lively from beginning to end, and many readers will enjoy the layers of comic nuance as Griggs turns the genre inside out."—Quill & Quire "It is a testament to Griggs's skill that this story is equal parts comic murder mystery, hero's journey and layered intellectual puzzle, with nods to many (Hitchcock and Vladimir Nabokov, to name a couple), and that it satisfies on every level."—Globe and Mail "Those readers looking for an unconventional novel with a unique sense of style, voice and place, will find Thought You Were Dead a most satisfying choice."—Mysterious Reviews
