Will is a judge, an arbiter who some get to meet once they've died. He runs a diner on a floor of a building impossibly large and far beyond the parameters of anything human. If you meet him you get to have a chat with him over a meal, one of your favorite even if you didn't realize it. You talk about your memories and then you leave, to heaven or hell it's up to him. But Will wants to be on the other side of these visits, and when his boss gives him a new girl, Roxanne, to train. She starts to question everything about Will's life, about their job, the same way he has for a long time. He wants to know what it's like to live and die, to love and hate, to be afraid and brave, to find out what really makes someone human.
Morgan Gutierrez is a fiction writer based in the unfortunately named Corona California, writing about the mundane found in the extraordinary. From a young age after being lost in so many worlds through other books, movies, and games he decided to try his own hand at creating worlds for people to explore and love.
